Can we build What Remains Of Edith Finch in The Sims 4? | Sims 4 Build

Can we build What Remains Of Edith Finch in The Sims 4? This is ‘Can We Build It?’, a new show on Rock Paper Shotgun where Alice recreates some of your favourite rooms from PC gaming in a Sims 4 build. First up is the twin’s room in Edith Finch…

This is a What Remains of Edith Finch speed build, more specifically the room Sam and Calvin Finch shared. They were two very different kids, making for an interesting building challenge. The Sims 4 is one of Alice’s all time favourite games – as you can probably tell if you take a look at some of our other videos, but she also adored What Remains of Edith Finch, so it makes sense for this to be the first room build of the series. Maybe one day we’ll do a whole Edith Finch house. Gulp.

Recreating famous gaming locations in other games is quite an interesting challenge. There are object, lighting, and maneuverability limitations but it ended up being a really fun challenge. This is not a CC free speed build, the CC download list is further down the description, with all the links you’ll need to be able to download the items yourself. Hopefully this video will give you some inspiration about how to build Sims 4, but if there are specific techniques you’d like to know more about, pop them in the comments.

We’ll be doing another Sims 4 room build soon – we’d love to hear suggestions for what it should be. Famous PC gaming locations only, please! And do share your favourite Sims 4 speed build videos in the comments, as we love to see the crazy things people have been building. Here’s hoping they are better than our last The Sims 4 build – the tiny house we designed in our live stream. See the horror here: https://youtu.be/JAwbX9JwtCU

Find the build under #RPSEdithFinch on the Sims 4 gallery. It will be available to download on consoles too, you’ll just be missing the custom content, and make sure you have all the packs needed, as it’s not a base game build. The really important bit is all the links the content through this video, which you’ll find here:
